Resort Banned LGBT From Entering The Premises of Their Resort
Updated: Jun 21, 2021
A beach resort in Samal Island received backlash over alleged discrimination based on their Facebook post. The team of Isla Reta Beach Resort stated that they could not accommodate transgenders because they have no facility for them and to avoid discrimination.
Filipinos chastised the administration in the comments area, claiming that refusing to accept transsexual persons on the grounds constitutes discrimination.
“Isn't refusing to let our transgender brothers and sisters in a clear case of discrimination? Please have a look at this policy,” one user suggested.
“What an irony!” exclaims the narrator.
It is already discrimination to refuse to accommodate transsexual people. Instead of blabbering about discrimination, why you confess that your customer service is inadequate and apologize sincerely,” another person said.
In my point of view, not letting LGBTQ+ members enjoy your resort is a huge factor of discrimination. It is alarming that there are people who separate LGBTQ+ members from the rest just because of their gender. We must not forget that whatever gender a person has, they are still humans.
